No. Our Hand Wash uses an aloe base rich in antioxidants like beta carotene, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E to help support hydration while cleansing.
It’s designed for frequent handwashing without leaving hands feeling dry or stripped. If desired, you can follow with our Body Lotion for added moisture.
Can I use this with a foaming pump?
Our Hand Wash is not designed for foaming pumps. For the best dispensing experience, we recommend our reusable pump.
Is it antibacterial?
No. Our Hand Wash is not antibacterial.
Research has shown that antibacterial soaps are not more effective than regular soap for everyday handwashing. We also avoid antimicrobial ingredients due to their environmental impact on waterways and ecosystems.

This is an effective hand wash that is easy on the skin. Yesterday, I had to fix the chain on my bike and rode away with my fingers covered in black grease. The Plaine Handwash took it right off with no irritation.
