Why is Plaine Products an all natural shampoo? We ensured that all of our ingredients are organic, vegan, nonGMO to create eco friendly bath products. That means our green shampoo is toxin free. All Natural Shampoo

All natural shampoo means that our first and largest ingredient is aloe. The rest of the ingredients are plants and essential oils. You can learn more about our plant based ingredients here. By working with aloe our green shampoo is able to include antioxidants like beta carotene, Vitamin C and E. These can all aid in reducing the appearance of damaged skin. Our eco shampoo is biodegradable. This means that it won’t cause any problems as it washes down your drain. There are no toxic chemicals in our all natural shampoo. Our eco friendly bath products are sulfate free, which means there is no sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). Both of these are used to make products lather. There’s some disagreement on how toxic they are, but everyone agrees they aren’t good for your skin. Our all natural shampoo is paraben free. Parabens are chemicals used as preservatives and their antibacterial and antifungal properties. But they aren’t necessary in shampoo unless you need it to last on a shelf for decades. That’s not Plaine Product’s business model.

None of the Ingredients You Don't Want

Check out our list of ingredients you don't want in your shampoo. You won't find any of them in Plaine Products. Our environmentally friendly shampoo is also free of synthetic fragrance, instead we use essential oils. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a consumer watchdog group, the average fragrance product is a cocktail of 14 secret chemicals. Our green shampoo is free of phthalates, which are plasticizers and are often used to make the fragrance in shampoos and other cosmetic products last longer. Most mainstream shampoos claim to be eco friendly bath products, but check their labels. A bonus of being an all natural shampoo is that Plaine Products is safe for kids, safe for color treated hair and good for those with sensitive skin.
